We are pleased to introduce Situation Opera's new Baroque group, the 10.10 Ensemble. Exploring the works of Bach, Vivaldi and Händel this small consort of singers and musicians performs solely on period instruments and will undertake projects independent of the main group.
Our first performance will be at St Mary's Church, Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 17th April 2010. In this concert we present Händel's masterwork Messiah, with soloists and chorus coming from within the ensemble of ten singers. The following morning, the 10.10 Ensemble will perform Vivaldi's delightful Gloria Mass at St Edmund's Catholic Church before returning to London for a repeat performance of Messiah.
