A key part of the work done by Situation Opera is developing the next generation of musicians and prospective talent. This work takes many forms - individual members of the Orchestra teaching their students, group workshops and masterclasses.

During our recent tour in Guernsey, violin professor Berent Korfker (Royal College of Music) gave masterclasses to young string students at the Ladies College, and Principal Cellist Angelique Lihou gave individual lessons to a young aspiring cellist.

In addition to these activities, the year ahead will feature group workshops and participative classes in schools. We are grateful for the support offered by The London Eye of the 2009-2010 Season Education Project.
